Kentucky Wesleyan College is a 151-year old liberal arts college located in Owensboro, Kentucky, a city on the Ohio River. The college enrolled 862 students from 23 states and 8 foreign countries in the last fall semester. KWC offers 36 majors and 11 pre-professional curriculums. The college is approved by the University Senate of the General Board of Higher Education & Ministry as a United Methodist-related academic institution.

BIOLOGY
Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, Kentucky seeks a full-time visiting Assistant Professor biologist for the 2010-11 academic year. Ph.D. is required. Successful candidate will teach Human Anatomy and Physiology I & II, non-majors' biology and an upper level majors' course, depending on expertise. CRIMINAL JUSTICE
Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, Kentucky, seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice for the academic year 2010-11. The successful candidate will teach courses in Criminal Justice with particular emphasis in critical issues in policing, criminal courts and research methods; supervise student scholarship, internships and practica; support the needs of the department; and engage in the life of the college. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or related discipline and a commitment to undergraduate teaching. HEAD WOMEN'S BASKETBALL COACH
Kentucky Wesleyan College seeks a full-time Head Women’s Basketball Coach. Duties include but are not limited to performing coaching responsibilities, recruiting student-athletes, maintaining compliance with GLVC and NCAA legislation, fundraising activities and monitoring academic progress. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and at least three years of previous coaching experience, preferably at the college level. This is a 12-month position with excellent benefits. Support and service positions
CUSTODIAN
Kentucky Wesleyan College has an opening for a part-time Custodian in our Facilities Services Department. Duties include cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, etc. Working days will be Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Employee receives free KWC tuition after one year. A valid driver's license is required. Please complete an application at the KWC Facilities Building near the corner of College Drive and Stadium Drive from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Interviews will be conducted at the time of application if the supervisor is available. EOE.
