Transfer Admissions
Succeed at Kentucky Wesleyan College
Kentucky Wesleyan wants to make your transfer process as easy as possible. Our goal as a close-knit liberal arts college is to see you complete your bachelor's degree in both a timely and affordable manner.
To begin the process, we require official transcripts from all colleges attended. Within days of arrival, our registrar will evaluate all official transcripts to determine which courses will fulfill major requirements. Once this is completed, we will contact you and let you know your acceptance status!
*Any student with less than 24 credit hours may need to supply an official high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores.
Kentucky Community and Technical College Block Transfer Program
Under our block transfer program, we recognize the completion of our general education requirements for students who earn an Associate in Arts or an Associate in Science from the KCTCS system (KCTCS/KWC General Education Program Equivalency).
Upon completion of these degrees, students who have achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher are eligible for a 50% discount on tuition from Kentucky Wesleyan.
Merit-Based Scholarships and Financial Aid
Financial assistance is available to all transfer students through merit scholarships or need-based aid. Merit scholarships range from $2,000 to $7,000 per academic year (based on your cumulative college GPA). To receive need-based aid, a student is required to complete the FAFSA (www.fafsa.ed.gov).
