KENTUCKY WESLEYAN REMAINS NO. 2 (December 11, 2000)
Kentucky Wesleyan, who raised their record to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with a pair wins last week, remained No. 2 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC)/Division II Bulletin weekly top 25 poll for men.
The top 14 stayed the same with No. 1 Florida Southern (6-0), No. 2 KWC, No. 3 Southern Indiana (6-0), No. 4 Northern Kentucky (9-0), No. 5 Washburn (5-1), No. 6 Metropolitan State (4-1), No. 7 Adelphi (5-0), No. 8 Wingate (8-0), No. 9 Tampa (9-0), and No. 10 Salem International (5-1).
The Panthers will host first-time opponents Clayton State (3-5) on Saturday, Dec. 16, at 7:30 p.m. CT and Northwood (2-6) on Monday, Dec. 18, at 7:30 p.m. at the Owensboro Sportscenter.
