Fall Phonathon 2009

Gifts are still coming in for the 2009 Fall Phonathon, held Sept. 13-30. If you answered the call, we thank you! If you made a pledge to one of our student callers, we hope you'll send it to the college by December 31 to help with the Wesleyan General Scholarship Fund which benefits 98% of our students.

Second row:  Courtney G., Courtney C., Stephanie, Gerrimy, Morgan, and Lisa
Second row: Charles, Ben, Jahna, Matt, Chelsea, Rain, Gena and Eric

As you can see from these pictures, we had 21 great student callers. They hailed from 8 different states, including Washington, Nevada, Georgia, Illinois, Tennessee, Indiana, Missouri and of course, Kentucky. Their majors vary from zoology, criminal justice, psychology, accounting, history, elementary education, and beyond. They are very involved in campus life - Brown scholars, KWC Ambassadors, resident assistants, KW Singers, Greeks, Wesleyan Fellows, KW1101 leaders, SGA representatives, Miss KWC; and they play team sports - baseball, soccer, football, basketball, cross country - and intramurals!

Phonathon callers, Jarrod, a communication arts/criminal justice major, and Rachelle, an elementary education major, are both seniors this fall.

Our Phonathon callers are typical of every student on the campus at KWC - smart, involved, caring and they love Kentucky Wesleyan. They are the very best reason why you should give to the Wesleyan General Scholarship Fund.

If you missed your Phonathon call, please make your gift today with a credit card by logging on to our secure Web site. Thank you for supporting our outstanding students!

For more information about giving to Kentucky Wesleyan College, contact the Office of Development at 270-852-3141 or e-mail Joyce Ann Evans at jevans@kwc.edu.
