KENTUCKY WESLEYAN COLLEGE TO HOST TWO EVENTS FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS
Owensboro, KY (September 6, 2013) Whether you’re considering your college options after high school or want to transfer to finish your degree, Louisville area students will have the chance to explore Kentucky Wesleyan College at two upcoming events.
A Prospective Student Reception will be held on Thursday, September 12 at The Ice House located at 217 E. Main Street in Louisville. From 6-8pm, those in attendance will have the opportunity for one-on-one discussions to learn more about Kentucky Wesleyan College and the academic majors and pre-professional programs available, the admissions process and requirements. The Director of Financial Aid will be in attendance to answer any questions students and their families may have about the FAFSA, scholarships, and the financial aid process.
Students may get a more hands-on experience of college life at Kentucky Wesleyan College at the on-campus Open House on Saturday, September 14. The event will kick off with registration beginning at 8:30am (CDT) in the Winchester Community Center.
In addition to information about academic programs and financial aid and scholarships, the Open House also includes tours of the campus, opportunities to meet with KWC faculty and current students, and sessions for students and their families to get information on student life at KWC, NCAA Division II college athletics, and more – including the two newest programs, KWC’s Four Year Graduation Guarantee and the Three Year Degree Option.
High school students and college transfer students are invited to attend both events, and if not already completed, are encouraged to bring with them an application for admission and an official school transcript in a sealed school envelope.
Registrations to attend the Prospective Student Reception and the Open House may be made online at www.kwc.edu or by calling the KWC Admissions Office at 800-999-0592. Walk-ins are also welcome for both events.
