Are KWC's online courses accredited?
Yes, Kentucky Wesleyan College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges
of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane,
Decatur, GA 30033-4097, Phone (404) 670-4500) to award baccalaureate degrees.
What are the admission requirements?
To enter the online degree completion programs, prospective students must have at least 65 credit hours from one or more regionally-accredited institutions of higher learning. In addition, prospective students must meet the Kentucky Wesleyan College admission requirements for all transfer students.
How do I register for online courses?
To take classes for credit at Kentucky Wesleyan College you must apply
for admission to the College. An application
form is available online. For more information contact the Office of Admission, 800-999-0592, admitme@kwc.edu.
If you wish to enroll in specific
classes but do not plan to seek a degree from Kentucky Wesleyan, you may
enroll as a non-degree seeking student.
- A non-degree seeking student must complete an application for admission. Transcripts or test scores do not need to be submitted.
- A non-degree seeking student may take up to 16 semester hours of credit. At that point, the student must file for full admission. Enrolling as a non-degree seeking student does not guarantee admission to the College.
Do the online courses require textbooks and where can I purchase
them?
Most online courses require at least one textbook. Textbooks for online
courses can be purchased online through the Kentucky
Wesleyan College bookstore.

faculty who teach our traditional classes.
