Thanks for your interest in applying to Kentucky Wesleyan College! This application is for re-admit and non-degree seeking students, including:
- senior citizens, high-school dual credit students, auditors, transient students from OCTC, Brescia University or another institution, KWC employees and dependents
Applying online will expedite your application process -- and it's free. Here's what you do:

Re-admit Students
Students who have previously attended Kentucky Wesleyan College.
Step 1: Complete an application
- Fill out the online application.
- Or, download and send in an application. If you need us to send you a copy, call the Admissions Office at 1-800-999-0592. Send the application to:

Step 2: Send us your transcripts
Send official transcript(s) from each college or university attended since your last admission to Kentucky Wesleyan College to the address above.
Step 3: Apply for Financial Aid
Apply between January 1 and March 2 for priority processing. You do not have to wait until you are admitted to Kentucky Wesleyan to apply for financial aid. The earlier you apply, the better chance you have that funds will be available.
- To apply, complete the new streamlined Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online.
- To ensure that we receive your FAFSA information, indicate our institutional code 001969 in the Federal School Code field and list the appropriate housing code.
- Don't forget to accept your awards. Accepting your award will ensure that your money is ready to be disbursed at the start of the semester.
Step 4: Complete Housing and Health Information
To reserve your spot with the incoming class, please complete and return:
- Housing Form: If you will be a residential student, include a $100 Housing Deposit. If you will be commuting, please include a $100 Tuition Deposit.
- Health Form: Include copy of your insurance card.
- Enrollment Acceptance Form (upload document to link to)
STEP 5: Sign up and attend a registration day or schedule an individual advising appointment.

Tuition Remission for KWC employees and dependents
Step 1: Complete an application and tuition remission form
- Fill out the online application.
- Or, download and send in an application. If you need us to send you a copy, call the Admissions Office at 1-800-999-0592.
- Obtain a tuition remission form from Human Resources.
Send the application (unless you submitted it online) and the form to the address above.
Step 2: Send us your transcripts and test scores
- Send an official high school transcript to the address above.
- Request that your test scores be sent to school code 1518 for ACT or 1369 for SAT
- If your scores are on your transcript, we consider those to be official.
- If you are a transfer, send an official transcript from each college or university you have attended to the address above.

Transient Students
OCTC TRANSIENT
Students who wish to enroll under an agreement between Kentucky Wesleyan College and Owensboro Community and Technical College where full-time OCTC students may enroll in KWC business courses tuition-free.
VISITING TRANSIENT
Full-time students attending another college or university who wish to enroll at Kentucky Wesleyan College for credit.
We need the following item from you:
1. A completed application

Non-Degree Seeking Student
Anyone who just wants to take a class (or classes), but is not working on a degree.
We need the following items from you:

2. A copy of your driver's license or personal identification card.
Send all items to the address above.

Senior Citizen
Anyone who is 62 years of age or more may enroll at Kentucky Wesleyan College tuition-free. You may take classes for credit or audit them up to a maximum of 15 hours.
We need the following items from you:
1. A completed application

2. A copy of your driver's license or personal identification card.
3. A completed senior citizen tuition form from the Financial Aid Office.

High School Dual Credit
Currently enrolled high school students who wish to enroll at Kentucky Wesleyan College for college credit course work.
We need the following items from you:
1. A completed application
- Fill out the online application.

2. An official high school transcript and ACT or SAT scores.
3. A letter of permission from your high school principal or guidance counselor.

Students who choose to take classes at Kentucky Wesleyan College without receiving credit.
