The Alumni Association alumni recognition program celebrates the leadership, service and career achievement of alumni and friends of Wesleyan. It is a specific and significant way to engage and connect with alumni across generations. Both peer and self-nominations are accepted. Nominations submitted by Jan. 31 will be considered for the following award cycle.
The purpose of the Kentucky Wesleyan College Alumni Hall of Fame is to honor those alumni who have gained distinction in their careers, become uniquely successful, and/or made a significant impact on the lives of others so as to deserve such acclaim. Inclusion in the Hall of Fame will perpetuate the memory of those who have brought honor and distinction to the name and reputation of Kentucky Wesleyan College. Both peer and self-nominations are accepted. Nominations submitted by Jan. 31 will be considered for the following award cycle.
The Alumni Association Board of Directors is a volunteer leadership group that carries out the mission of the Alumni Association through ongoing participation and volunteer efforts. The role of the Alumni Board is to supplement the efforts of the External Relations division, specifically the Office of Engagement and “friend-raising.”
Board members have several basic responsibilities including attending regularly scheduled meetings (3 per year, including 1 virtual), attending annual Homecoming celebrations, actively serving on a standing committee of the board and providing annual financial support of the program(s) of their choice at Kentucky Wesleyan College. Both peer and self-nominations are accepted. Nominations submitted by Jan. 31 will be considered for a 3-year term beginning June 1 following the January deadline.
