Dr. Kyle L. Bryant graduated from Northcentral University in 2017, obtaining a PhD in Marketing Research. During his time working toward his PhD, constructed and published a doctoral thesis predicated on a “Comparative Analysis of Michigan Retail Businesses’ Online Marketing Infrastructure Toward Addressing Consumers’ Needs.”  Dr. Bryant started facilitating courses in post-secondary education once he graduated with his MBA from Baker College Graduate Studies in 2010. Since then, Dr. Bryant has taught at various institutions as an adjunct professor, teaching Marketing Strategies, Marketing Research, Consumer Behaviors and Decision making, International Marketing, just to name a few.  

Dr. Bryant incorporates a teaching philosophy that encompasses wide scope aspects of an individual to improve, enhance or adjust their mind cultivating mental and professional growth. According to Dr. Bryant there are five essential elements that are conducive to an effective learning:  

  1. The educator/facilitator is an industry expert, with an understanding of continual learning.
  2. Hands-on or practicum learning by collaborating and networking through current events or partnerships with local businesses, providing real-world experiences.
  3. Encouraging student interaction and constructive feedback to challenge the student and other classmates.
  4. Theoretical knowledge of effective market research to gain a better understanding and become subject matter experts.
  5. Incorporating various means of technology to introduce students to technological methodologies and digital platforms used in the business segment today.

Dr. Bryant has been working in both the public and private sector.  As of most recent Dr. Bryant, worked for PPG Architectural Coatings as a Consumer Insight Analyst.  In this role, he was responsible for conducting research, discerning consumer behaviors, purchasing decisions, and brand recognition. As a consumer insight analyst, Dr. Bryant conducted qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methodology research studies; such as, consumer path to purchase, brand equity, NPS and brand awareness studies of immediate competitors. Moreover, Dr. Bryant continues to enhance his own knowledge through a continual research focus that goes beyond the methodologies but more into the understanding of the generational gap that exists and continue to expand as there are major shifts with consumers from the boomers to Gen Z and Millennials.
