Summer (Crick) Aldridge ‘14 serves both as Kentucky Wesleyan College’s Director of Alumni Relations and as an adjunct faculty member in communication arts.
Prior to her time with the College, she served as Community Development Director for the City of Madisonville where she led the city’s tourism, beautification and development efforts. She co-founded the Hopkins County Young Professionals (a 501c3 nonprofit organization) in 2016 and is a graduate of both Leadership Owensboro (2021) and Leadership Hopkins County (2017). She was named on of United Way of the Coalfield’s 30 Under 30 in 2019 and was voted Hopkins County Citizen of the Year in 2018.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, thrift shopping and spending time with her two dogs, Mako and Rupert, and her husband, Kirk Aldridge ’17. She also serves as the social chair for the Owensboro Chamber Young Professionals.
Summer earned her bachelor’s degree from Kentucky Wesleyan and her MPA from the University of Evansville.
