Bio:
Julie Richardson is very involved in fitness and nutrition with the aim of helping people overcome their fears and struggles to reach their full potential to perform and maintain optimal health. She is a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Certified Exercise Physiologist.
Julie’s goal at Kentucky Wesleyan is to educate students interested in the field of Exercise Science and inspire them to continue learning about these important topics throughout their educational and occupational futures.
Julie grew up in Florence, AL and was very involved in sports. She played softball, basketball, and ran cross country throughout her childhood and all through high school. She is very close with her family, has one older sister, and a dog named Kaiah that tends to run the household.
In her spare time, she enjoys working out, cooking, going on hikes, spending time with family and friends, and reading a good book. She also has a huge passion for music, movies, television shows, and playing board games.
