Patrick Ritsch is the Director of Choral Activities and Music Education at Kentucky Wesleyan College, where he conducts the choral ensembles and teaches applied voice and aural skills. In addition to his duties at the college, Ritsch is the Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church in Owensboro, KY, and is the conductor of the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra Chorus. He holds a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from East Carolina University. There, he was a student of Dr. James Franklin, and performed with the internationally renowned ECU Chamber Singers both as a singer in the bass section and as a collaborative pianist. While at ECU, Ritsch taught courses in music fundamentals, conducted the ECU Collegiate Choir, and served as the assistant director of the ECU Concert Choir.

Prior to his time at ECU, he taught middle and high school choir and general music. Sought after as a collaborative pianist, he accompanied both student and faculty recitals in the greater Tri-State area. Additionally, he has served as music director and pianist for multiple productions with New Harmony Theatre, the University of Southern Indiana Theatre Department, and the nationally recognized University of Evansville Theatre. He holds an undergraduate degree in music, as well as a Sacred Music Certificate from the University of Evansville.
