We’re HIP! Engaging Students with Active Learning and High Impact Practices, May 5, 2016
Several faculty members gave presentations related to High Impact Practices in their instruction, ranging from Online Homework Systems to Mentoring Undergraduate Research to Cultural Simulation games. Keynote address was given by David Goguen: 50 Pages by Midterm: Getting Students to write Using Collaborative Google Apps, in which he shared his experiences using a palette of active learning techniques and technology to get his students to read, research, and write 30-50 pages by midterm.
