Community engagement is a priority for the College
Community Engagement is a broad term to describe Kentucky Wesleyan College’s outreach to the Owensboro community and beyond. This includes volunteer efforts such as Days of Service and ongoing programs such as The Bonner Leaders Program. Community Engagement also includes service-learning–service connected to academic experiences–which are an integral component of the College’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). The Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning welcomes students and faculty seeking community engagement opportunities as well as non-profit partners seeking volunteers.
