Travel grants are awarded for travel to present results of undergraduate research or to attend disciplinary conferences. Funds are limited, so apply early. Priority is given to requests for students presenting results of research.
Grants are available depending on funding.
Students may apply or faculty may apply on behalf of students. However, all applications must have a faculty sponsor approval.
There is no application deadline but please allow at least 2 weeks notice.

Food and beverage is not allowed.
Total Costs Allowed*:
~ Students who ARE presenting:
90% of costs up to $700
~ Students who are NOT presenting:
80% of costs up to $500
* The Student Government Association (SGA) generally covered registration for students to attend conferences. Applications for registration costs must be presented to SGA before such costs will be covered under CETL Travel Grants.
* All grant amounts are based upon available funding and may not reach 90% or 80% of actual cost.
~ Recipients are required to present plans, progress or results at the CETL Spring Conference on March 17, 2018 and/or Scholars Day on April 12, 2018.
~ Recipients are also required to submit a culminating report
~ All funds must be expended by September 30, 2018.
