The Bonner Leaders Program is an intensive community service and leadership development program. As Bonner Leaders, students make a four-year commitment to serve approximately 200 hours annually. The bulk of those hours are spent at an identified community partner organization. For the remainder, students participate in leadership training and other skill-building workshops. Students receive an hourly work-study stipend in exchange for their time, as well opportunities to participate in Bonner network conferences. Minimum Requirements:
– Demonstrated interest in community service and/or leadership
– Eligible for Federal Work-Study
Benefits: Federal Work-Study compensation at $9 for approximately 100 hours each semester. Renewable for four years.
To Apply: Applicants must apply to Kentucky Wesleyan College and be accepted in order to be eligible Bonner Leaders. Interested students must complete the Bonner Leaders Application here, and be able to participate in all program components.
