VITA Tax Program

Tax Preparation Dates:
Friday February 10 and February 17
KWC Library Computer Lab

Through the Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning, Kentucky Wesleyan College has partnered with the Green River Asset Building Coalition (GRABC) to offer VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) income tax preparation services free of charge for low to moderate income filers.

Through our partnership, we are training Wesleyan students and staff as VITA volunteers, either as certified greeters and screeners or as IRS-certified tax preparers. Our volunteers help our own students and staff, as well as members of the public to understand and file their federal income taxes. All volunteers undergo ethics training to ensure confidentiality.

The partnership is supported by a generous grant from the Hager Educational Foundation to fund an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer.
