The Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning is an integral component of the $2.1 million Title III Strengthening Institutions grant received by KWC from the US Department of Education in November 2014. CETL’s role is to catalyze change in the teaching and learning environment. CETL works with faculty, staff and students to design engaging, significant, and meaningful learning experiences in and out of the classroom.
CETL Faculty Advisory Committee
The Faculty Advisory Committee provides insight and guidance regarding the mission, policies, direction, programs and services of the Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning. Specific activities include reviewing proposals for CETL Mini-Grants and selecting Faculty Fellows.
The CETL Advisory Committee is composed of:
- one faculty representative from each division
- one representative from the library
- one student selected by the Student Government Association
- CETL Director
- CETL Associate Director
Term: Faculty and library members serve for two years; student member serves for one year. Members serve for one year.
