Owensboro, Ky. (Oct. 10, 2017) – Violinist Alfred Abel and pianist Diane Earle will perform a Duo Recital Sunday, Nov. 12, at 2 p.m. in Tapscott Chapel in the Barnard-Jones Administration Building at Kentucky Wesleyan College. The pair is celebrating 10 years of performing together. They will perform music by Bach, Grieg and pieces from all four seasons: “Summertime” by Gershwin/Heifetz, “Spring Sonata” by Beethoven, “Winter” from Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons,” and the popular “Autumn Leaves.” Abel, from Indianapolis, is Visiting Artist in Violin at Kentucky Wesleyan College, and Earle is Artist in Residence and Director of the Music Program. The program is free and open to the public, and a reception will follow.
