Kentucky Wesleyan College alumna Kathryn Swanson will present a vibrant recital program streaming free online, live from Opera America in New York City on Wednesday, May 6, from 7:30 – 8:30 EDT (6:30 – 7:30 p.m. CDT). Tune in at youtube.com/user/natoperacenterlive.
The program features a wide variety of music from contemporary and classic composers and focuses on character exploration and storytelling. The recital will feature an appearance by fellow Wesleyan alumna Ginny Weant and includes works by Libby Larsen, Gian Carlo Menotti, Sara Bareilles, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Leonard Bernstein, Adam Guettel, Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel and more.
