Q: What is the Senior Class Gift?
A: We’re excited to announce that the Class of 2024’s Senior Gift be a historic mural created by KWC alumnus and local artist K.O. Lewis ’08. The mural will be located on the first-floor lobby inside the Barnard-Jones Administration Building. Learn more about the gift and ways to support it here.

Q: What is Senior Dinner?
A: Senior Dinner is a final celebration for members of the senior class and their guests. It’s a chance for you to let loose with your closest friends before you walk across the stage and head out into the real world! We’ll have dinner, a cash bar, lots of photo ops and addresses from some of the leaders of your class.

Q: Who can come to Senior Dinner?
A: Senior Dinner is open to those planning to walk at the 2023 Commencement. Whether you are a December, May or August graduate, if you consider yourself a member of the graduating class, you’re invited! All seniors are allowed to bring one guest (can be another KWC student but doesn’t have to be). Faculty & staff members are also invited to attend.

Q: How much is Senior Dinner?
A: Seniors must pay a $5 deposit for their seat at Senior Dinner, but the money will be returned to you upon check in. Each senior may bring 1 guest for an additional cost.

Q: What do I wear to Senior Dinner?
A: Cocktail attire for Senior Dinner is preferred!

Q: I’d rather donate to the Senior Gift online. Can I do that?
A: Yes! You can click here to do so. Make sure to note “Senior Gift” in the comments and mark the designation as “other.” There is a $5 minimum for online gifts.

Q: How does giving just $5 help?
A: The “Alumni Giving Percentage” is the number of alumni who make financial gifts out of the entire alumni base (8,000+ people!). It’s extremely important that this number is high so that we can continue to be a highly ranked College and so that we can show we invest in ourselves when applying for institutional grants.

Q: Do I have to donate to the Senior Gift to graduate?
A: Absolutely not. You’ve earned your degree through much hard work and dedication. We only ask that you consider donating so that we can continue changing lives #TheWesleyanWay.

Q: Can I decorate my cap?
A: Yep! Please be respectful.

Q: My gown is super wrinkly. Can you help?
A: We sure can! We have steamers at the Martin Alumni Center for your use. Do NOT iron your gown.

Q: Where is the Martin Alumni Center?
A: We’re located right across from Deacon Hall on Scherm Rd. Our office looks like a cozy little house on the outside, and it’s just as cozy on the inside. Come see us!
