The Brown Scholars Dinner, hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan College, was held on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at the Owensboro Convention Center. More than 200 Brown Scholars, their families, Kentucky Wesleyan faculty, staff and alumni attended the event.
Attendees were greeted with a hors d’oeuvres at the mix and mingle portion of the evening, followed by dinner, performances by students Sarah Nell Hibbs and Jonathan Poland and speeches by Associate Director Christina Ring-Hillard, student Emily Yocom and President Bart Darrell.
Brown Scholarship interviews were held the following day and students competing will receive between $10,000 and full tuition.
