Please find our schedule of events for Fall Family Weekend below along with additional activities occurring across campus.

Friday, September 22

Check In – 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Rotunda, Winchester Campus Community Center – Check-in to receive your shirt(s) and wristband(s) for the football game. 

Meet the Panthers – 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Class of 2020 Winchester Firepit – Join faculty, staff, and other families for a bonfire featuring smores and refreshments.

Volleyball vs. Malone – 7 p.m.
Jones Gym – Please join us at the first of this weekend’s home volleyball games.

 

Saturday, September 23

Panther Pride 5k – 8 a.m.

*Hosted by the Alumni Association*
Register here.

Jack T. Wells Activity Center – Join us for the Panther Pride 5k – a race like no other during Homecoming 2023! Participants will experience a 1-lap route that starts at the new Jack T. Wells Activity Center and winds through the best parts of campus including the quad, Panther Park, and more before finishing in Steele Football Stadium. All participants will receive a finisher’s medal and t-shirt. Panther Prize Packs will be given to the overall male and female winners. Proceeds will benefit the Wesleyan Scholarship Fund. Brunch on the Lawn – 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Winchester Lawn* – All families are invited to eat brunch on campus courtesy of the Student Activities Programming Board.
*Hocker Dining Hall will be used in the case of inclement weather

Women’s Soccer vs. Ashland 1 p.m.
Panther Field – Please join us for the women’s soccer game! 

Volleyball vs. Walsh – 2 p.m.
Jones Gym – Please join us at the volleyball game!

Men’s Soccer vs. Ashland 3:30 p.m.
Panther Field – Please join us for the men’s soccer game!

The Bash – 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Front Lawn – Please join us for a Wesleyan Carnival full of games, balloon art, crafts, and information from student organizations. The Alumni Association will also be providing live music, food trucks, inflatables and much more.

Football vs. Ohio Dominican – 6 p.m.
Steele Stadium – Please join us at the football game! Families in attendance will be recognized during halftime. Homecoming Royalty will also be announced during halftime.

 

Sunday, September 24

Sunday Worship – 9 a.m.
Tapscott Chapel

Military Paws Support Service Project – 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Rogers Hall – Families are invited to help package K-9 Troop care packages and write letters to the K-9s and their Troops they work with.  A large group photo will be taken to send with the care packages.  Donations of funds towards the purchase of items for the care packages can be made with your Fall Family Weekend registration.  If you wish to purchase your own items for donation, please contact Director of Student Involvement & Orientation, Michael McComas, at michael.mccomas@kwc.edu for the instructions and list of items to purchase.
