Race Route for 5k Run:

Runners will begin at Veterans Blvd and St Ann and head west for about 300 meters where they will turn left onto Locust Street (at the corner of the Hampton Inn) and then a quick right onto the boulevard that goes along the front of the Convention Center. The course continues before turning right onto Elm and then making a quick left onto First Street. Athletes follow First Street for a long stretch passing the mile mark as they turn right onto Hanning Lane where they will be able to see English Park. Just before getting to the park, the route takes a left onto Ohio Street which will eventually lead them near the Field Packing Company entrance. A sharp left will guide the athletes across the halfway mark (2500 meters.) This is also where the water station on the course will be set up. Coming to the next intersection, the course turns left onto Chesterfield Drive. After a straightaway and an S turn, runners will turn right for a short distance onto Dublin Lane which will quickly lead them back to a left hand turn onto First Street. Not far around the corner will be the 2 mile mark. The route will continue along First Street for a long stretch as it reverses the first mile back toward the finish. A right onto Elm and then a quick left back onto the boulevard in front of the Convention Center will lead athletes back to Locust Street. Turning left on to Locust followed by a quick right will put runners back onto Veterans Boulevard where they will run the final 300 meters to the finish line. The course is exactly 5000 meters long.

Race route for Mile Run:

Runners will begin at Veterans Blvd and Frederica Street and head west for about 300 meters where they will turn left onto Locust Street (at the corner of the Hampton Inn) and then a quick right onto the Boulevard that goes in front of the Convention Center. At Walnut Street the course turns left for a short block and then right onto Main Street. After two blocks on Main Street runners will take a right at Poplar Street for one block before turning right onto First Street. A right onto Elm and then a quick left back will put runners back on the Boulevard in front of the Convention Center. Turning left onto Locust followed by a quick right will guide runners back onto Veterans Boulevard where they will run the final 300 meters to the finish line. The course will be exactly one mile long.

Walkers Route – 2 Miles:

Walkers will begin at Veterans Blvd and St Ann and head west for about 300 meters where they will turn left onto Locust Street (at the corner of the Hampton Inn) and then a quick right onto the boulevard that goes in front of the Convention Center.   At Locust Street they will turn right followed by a quick left onto First Street.  Athletes follow First Street for a long stretch to Hanning Lane.  This is the same first mile as the 5k course.
