Owensboro, Ky. (Sept. 30, 2015)  –  Kentucky Wesleyan College is offering a travel course, International Studies in Cuba, from Saturday, Feb. 27 to Saturday, March 5, 2016. Participants will explore the island, its history and culture and get to know the people of Cuba while visiting Havana and the Pinar del Rio region, historic and UNESCO sites, art studios, museums, the University of Havana, gardens, Ernest Hemingway locations and many other places of interest.

“This is an ideal way to beat the late winter blues while enjoying and learning about the captivating culture of our tropical neighbors,” said Dr. Ken Ayers. “Our previous tours to Cuba have been enthusiastically received, and we anticipate that this tour will fill quickly.”

The course is open to the public as a credit or as an audit, and the deadline for reserving space is Oct. 15.  View details of the trip at www.cubaexplorer.com/tours/kak.
