Kentucky Wesleyan College will host the Owensboro Regional College Fair Sept. 18 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Jones Gymnasium at the Woodward Health and Recreation Center. At least 50 colleges will take part, and KWC invites area high school students to attend. Closer to the date, the College will provide a campus map and directions for drop off, bus parking and pick-up areas.
To help prepare and ensure that arrivals are coordinated, attendees are asked to submit an RSVP with the approximate number of students expected. CLICK HERE to register.
The Kentucky Association for College Admission Counseling (KYACAC), the professional organization that promotes college attendance and supports the transition from high school to college, has partnered with StriveScan to save students time in completing inquiry cards and focus more time on conversations with college representatives. StriveScan is the national leader and gold standard in this service, and a one-minute introduction to this organization is found at strivescan.com. Participating colleges will be able to gather student information through StriveScan and students can register with StriveScan quickly and easily while at school or on the way to campus.
KWC Fair Coordinator Matt Ruark (matthew.ruark@kwc.edu or 270-852-3120) is available to answer questions and provide supporting materials.
