The Kentucky Wesleyan College Office of Advancement earned the top honor for Best Practices in Fundraising from the Kentucky chapter of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) on Dec. 7 at their annual conference in Louisville.
The Office of Advancement had a record number of President’s Circle members (recognizing those who contribute $1,000 or more to the institution on an annual basis) last fiscal year, and also introduced the Young Alumni President’s Circle initiative providing an avenue of support for recent graduates.
Wesleyan won the prestigious Grand Award for Best Practices in Fundraising, given to the top performing institution, for the second time in three years.
“This is a testimony to the hard work of our staff, both present and past, as well as the generous support of our alumni and investors,” said Eddie Kenny, Interim Vice President of Advancement. “We are honored and humbled to be recognized by peers, and hope to continue establishing new heights for Kentucky Wesleyan College moving forward.”
The Kentucky Wesleyan College of Advancement has earned numerous awards from the Kentucky chapter of CASE as well as the District III region in the last several years.
CASE is an international association of educational institutions and the advancement professionals who work on their behalf in the areas of alumni relations, communications, development, marketing and allied areas.
