Kentucky Wesleyan President’s Gala SOLD OUT

Kentucky Wesleyan College announced that its second annual President’s Gala, which will take place Friday, April 21, at the Owensboro Convention Center, is officially sold out.

“To sell out the Gala for the second year in a row, even with additional seating, is a testament to the momentum of Kentucky Wesleyan College and our President’s Circle initiative,” said Tom Keith, vice president for advancement. “We are excited for Friday night’s event and can’t wait to celebrate with everyone.”

The black-tie optional affair will give Wesleyan the opportunity to recognize the College’s President’s Circle – the annual giving society for investors who give $1,000 or more during the year – while honoring the accomplishments of students, alumni and other College benefactors over the past 12 months. Members of the College’s Heritage Society, which includes individuals who have included Wesleyan in their estate plans, will also be in attendance.

Festivities begin with a reception overlooking the Ohio River presented by Cornerstone sponsor Independence Bank, followed by a plated dinner with wine pairings, remarks from President Barton D. Darrell ’84, J.D., and live entertainment throughout the evening by Nashville’s award-winning group, The Downtown Band. Kirk Kirkpatrick, former executive director of Friday After 5, will serve as master of ceremonies.

Other event sponsors include American Patriot Getaways, Atmos Energy, Canteen and John Conti Coffee, Greenwell Chisholm, Modern Welding, David Hocker & Associates, Ebelhar Whitehead, PLLC, The Settle Group of Hilliard Lyons, US Bank and US Bank Home Mortgage, GCA Services Group, Hendrick Screen Company and North Bowie Farming, Houchens Insurance Group, Old National Bank, Owensboro Health and O.Z.
