“Forward Ever, Together,” our college’s strategic plan for 2025-2028, expands on our historic commitments to the Christian faith and to the liberal arts tradition, bringing them into service of strategic aims and aspirational goals.
Kentucky Wesleyan College’s 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, “Forward Ever, Together,” envisions a bold and faith-driven future rooted in the College’s historic mission and the values of The Wesleyan Way. Entering its 167th year, the College reaffirms its dedication to educating the whole student—mind, body, and spirit—through a liberal arts tradition that develops ethical, adaptable leaders prepared for a changing world.
The plan centers on three interlocking themes:
Affirm strengthens the Wesleyan community by aligning shared goals, enhancing academic and operational efficiency, and deepening engagement among students, faculty, alumni, and partners.
Activate invests in innovation—advancing technology, expanding study abroad and experiential learning, and integrating calling and vocation into a four-year co-curricular experience.
Accelerate propels the College toward growth through academic distinction, strategic enrollment initiatives, financial stewardship, and a revitalized brand presence that amplifies KWC’s regional and national visibility.
This forward-looking plan emerged from an inclusive, campus-wide collaboration involving students, faculty, staff, alumni, trustees, and community leaders. Their collective insight shaped a strategy that honors KWC’s legacy while setting measurable goals—academic excellence, financial sustainability, enrollment growth, and a vibrant, Christ-centered culture—that will define its next era.
