Friday After 5

Friday After 5 is a summer-long series of free outdoor concerts held every Friday on the eight block, stunningly beautiful Owensboro, Kentucky riverfront. Kentucky Wesleyan College has been a weekly sponsor of the Friday After 5 event for many years, painting the town purple!

Downtown After Dark

Downtown After Dark, a new concert series, takes place on Thursday nights at the RiverPark Center from 7 pm – 10 pm.  The event features a live DJ as well as local and out of town acts.  


Owensboro is also home to the Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport. Spanning over 800 acres, the airport has two runways and two airlines: Cape Air and Allegiant Airlines with direct flights into Orlando and St. Louis, respectively.
