The Application Process

Applications for admission are reviewed individually upon receipt of all appropriate academic credentials. Students are notified of their admission status as soon as possible. Kentucky Wesleyan College is committed to admitting those applicants who demonstrate the potential for academic success at the College.

Step 1: Submit your application

Start your journey toward a transformational college experience today! Our application is fast, simple, and completely free. Submit your application directly through our website or apply using the Common App—both options receive equal consideration. Once you apply, you’re one step closer to discovering your potential and stepping confidently into your future as a Panther.

Step 2: Apply for VA benefits

Start If you haven’t yet, you should apply for your VA benefits at the same time that you apply to Kentucky Wesleyan.

Step 3: Submit all official transcripts

If you have have no college experience, send an official high school transcript to this address:

If you have previous college experience, send an official transcript from each college or university you have attended to the address above.

Our Admissions team carefully reviews every application. In some cases, we may request additional information or invite you for a personal interview to help us get to know you better.

Step 4: Submit your ACT or ACT Scores (optional)

At Kentucky Wesleyan, we believe opportunity shouldn’t depend on a test score. That’s why admission is test-optional—you’re more than a number.

If you’d like to include your scores, request they be sent to:

Scores listed on your official high school transcript are also accepted as official.

Step 5: Apply for Financial Aid

At Kentucky Wesleyan, every student receives financial aid, and we are dedicated to helping you take this next step with confidence. Our goal is to make a Wesleyan education both accessible and affordable so you can focus on your future.

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online as soon as it opens in the fall. You do not need to wait for your admission decision to apply. Submitting early gives you the best chance to access available funds, especially for Kentucky residents.

Be sure to list Kentucky Wesleyan College (Federal School Code: 001969) and select the appropriate housing code.

Every new undergraduate student is automatically considered for an academic merit scholarship when admitted. These scholarships are based on your cumulative high school GPA and reflect our commitment to rewarding your hard work and potential.

Step 6: Submit your Enrollment Deposit

Secure your place in the Panther family and receive priority for housing and class placement by submitting your enrollment deposit as soon as you are ready to commit to Kentucky Wesleyan.

Enrollment deposit amounts are based on your student type:

  • Residential students: $200
  • Commuting students: $100
  • International students: $600

Deposits for the fall semester are refundable until May 1. Deposits for spring and summer terms are nonrefundable.

Making your deposit is the first step toward joining a community that believes in your potential and supports your goals.

Step 7: Accept your Award

Accepting your financial aid award ensures that your funds are ready to be applied at the start of the semester.

Once you officially commit to Kentucky Wesleyan, you will receive login credentials for your student portal. From there, you can review and accept your financial aid package online.

This step brings you one move closer to beginning your Wesleyan journey with confidence and peace of mind.

Step 8: Fill out Enrollment Forms

Log in to your GO.KWC Application Hub to view your Enrollment Checklist and complete all required forms.

Your hub will guide you through important next steps, including housing and advising details.

Admitted students can also visit the Accepted Students page for additional information and helpful resources.

Next Steps

If you expect to receive VA benefits from the Department of Veteran Affairs to help defray the costs of your education, forward your Certificate of Eligibility to the Financial Aid Office at finaid@kwc.edu. The Financial Aid Office will have your VA benefits applied toward the cost of your Kentucky Wesleyan College education.

Is it FREE to apply to Kentucky Wesleyan?

Yep, it’s 100% free to apply to Wesleyan. No hidden fees, no catch. While other schools make you pay just to hit submit, we keep it simple and free.

When is the deadline to apply?

Wesleyan has rolling admission, so there’s no set deadline. Apply whenever you’re ready, but apply early for the best access to scholarships, housing, and course selection.
