Everything you Need

At Kentucky Wesleyan College, care is at the heart of everything we do. You’ll find a campus community that truly looks out for one another — where faculty, staff, and students form genuine relationships built on encouragement, respect, and faith-informed support. Whether it’s a professor checking in after class, a staff member helping you navigate a challenge, or friends cheering you on from the sidelines, you’re never alone here. Our Cares Team, campus ministries, and peer mentoring programs ensure that every student is seen, valued, and supported in mind, body, and spirit. At Wesleyan, you’re not just part of a campus — you’re part of a family that celebrates your victories, lifts you through challenges, and walks beside you as you grow.

CAREs Team

The CARES Team provides proactive, compassionate support to ensure every student feels seen, valued, and connected throughout their Wesleyan journey.

Parking Information

Parking Guidelines:

  • Vehicles shall be parked in the lots in the spaces indicated by parking lines on both sides. In case of curb parking, all vehicles are to be parked in the direction of the traffic flow and not in “No Parking” zones (indicated by yellow markings).
  • Parking in visitor, handicapped, or spaces designated for residence life staff is prohibited and will result in ticketing and potentially towing.
  • All vehicles shall observe speed limits and all traffic signs.
  • Motorcycles are classified as motor vehicles and must be registered in the Student Services Office. Motorcycles, mopeds, and scooters must observe traffic and parking regulations and are not to be operated on sidewalks or campus lawns.
  • All students involved in traffic accidents on campus should contact the Owensboro Police Department (OPD) at 270-687-8888 to file a police report for insurance purposes, and the accident should also be reported to the Student Services Office.
  • Campus streets and parking lots are maintained and policed by the city of Owensboro. The Student Services Office has no authority for parking or speeding tickets issued by OPD.
  • Vehicles found in violation of campus parking regulations will be ticketed and a fine will be assessed.
  • After three unresolved parking tickets, the vehicle may be towed at the owner’s expense.
  • Any fines assessed that are unpaid may result in a delay in the registration process.
  • Vehicles parked in a restricted area will be towed, at the owner’s expense. Failure to pay the towing charge will result in a hold being placed on the student’s academic transcript.
  • These rules shall apply at all times.

Post Office

We know this is the digital age, but it’s hard to get your mom’s chocolate chip cookies with a text message.

To pick up your cookies – or take care of any other mail or package need (including UPS and FedEx) – visit us in the Winchester Center next to the bookstore. Your student mailbox is here, and you have access to it anytime.

Mailbox Assignments
All full time students (residential and commuters) are required to have a mailbox on campus. No mail will be delivered without a mailbox. Failure to secure a mailbox will result in a $25 fine and/or 10 hours community service. Mailboxes are optional for part-time students.

1. There is a $10.00 refundable deposit for each mailbox key to be paid online through PantherNet or the Student Portal.
2. All key deposits are refundable at the end of each academic year or at the time of withdrawal when the mailbox key is returned to the appropriate office.
3. If a student loses or damages his or her original key, the student will be required to pay an additional $10.00 fee for a replacement. The student is eligible for a refund of the most recent $10.00 deposit. The Mail Room will need to be notified of any lost or damaged keys so the Postal Coordinator can track the number of duplicates that need to be made.
4. It is important to return the key to the Mail Room staff at the end of the academic year, as mailboxes will be reassigned at the beginning of each school year. Failure to turn in your mailbox key by July 1 will result in a $50 fine and forfeiture of your key deposit.
