Student Activities

Getting involved in student activities is one of the best ways to experience life at Kentucky Wesleyan. Student-planned and organized events bring our campus to life—whether it’s trip to concerts or professional sporting events, game nights, service projects, or seasonal traditions, there’s always something happening. These moments give every Wesleyan student something in common, building friendships, leadership skills, and unforgettable memories. Participating in these events isn’t just fun—it’s how you become part of the Wesleyan community and shape the energy of campus life.

There are many different events hosted each year. See these featured events:

Kdub Idol

Kdub Idol is one of Wesleyan’s favorite traditions—a three week event where students take the stage to showcase their creativity and talent. More than a competition, it’s a celebration of community, confidence, and the supportive spirit that makes Kentucky Wesleyan a place where everyone can shine.

Midnight Movies

Midnight Movies bring the Wesleyan community together for laughter, connection, and fun. Hosted by our Student Activities Programming Board, these monthly late-night, new release movies selected by student vote are a favorite tradition where students unwind and enjoy time with friends. At Kentucky Wesleyan, shared moments make campus life unforgettable.

Trips Away from Campus

Our off-campus trips give students the chance to explore, connect, and grow beyond the classroom. Whether it’s a theme park (Cedar Point, Kings Island, Holiday World), concerts, sporting events (Tennesse Titans, Cincinnati Reds, Louisville City FC) or cultural experience, these adventures build friendships and broaden horizons—showing that learning and community at Kentucky Wesleyan extend far beyond the campus.
