Kentucky Wesleyan College’s Baccalaureate celebration will take place on Friday, May 2, at 7 p.m. at the Jack T. Wells ’77 Activity Center’s Young Auditorium (3300 Frederica Street). Rev. Jamelle Jones will address the class.

Jones is a passionate author, pastor and spiritual mentor dedicated to inspiring others through faith and purpose. He is the author of “You Are Enough . . . You Matter,” “Immeasurably More” and “Believe Again,” works that reflect his heart for encouragement and transformation.

Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Rev. Jones pursued his love for philosophy and theology at Eastern Kentucky University, earning a degree in philosophy with a minor in Middle Eastern religions. Guided by the Holy Spirit, he followed his calling to Texas, where he deepened his ministry work and earned a master’s degree from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

Today, Rev Jones serves as a local pastor in the United Methodist Church, ministering to college students at the Wesley Foundation at the University of Louisville. With a heart for young adults and a commitment to spiritual growth, he empowers others to embrace their faith, walk in their purpose and believe in the immeasurable possibilities God has for them.
