Political Science Program Features
At Kentucky Wesleyan, the Political Science program helps students understand the systems and ideas that shape societies. You’ll study American politics, international relations, comparative politics, and political theory while developing strong skills in analysis, writing, and debate. Faculty mentors provide personal guidance in small, discussion-based classes, challenging you to think critically about complex issues. Engaged learning includes simulations, service projects, and study abroad opportunities that bring global perspectives into focus. Internships with government agencies, nonprofits, and law offices provide real-world experience and professional connections. Our program emphasizes civic engagement, leadership, and ethical responsibility, preparing graduates for impactful roles in law, politics, and public service.
