With books now included in the cost of tuition, Kentucky Wesleyan College ensures you are Booked! Save your time and energy for class!

Students no longer have to worry about trying to find the best price or if their materials will arrive before classes start. Booked! automatically provides the digital or physical version of all the required textbooks, depending on which version the professor has chosen. Digital course materials are available on day one and accessing them is as easy as signing into your Brightspace account. Physical course materials will be available for pickup on campus at the Howard Greenwell Library.

  • How do I purchase and receive my textbooks?

    • Booked! automatically provides (at no cost to you) the digital or physical version of all the required textbooks for your registered classes, depending on which version your professor has chosen. Digital course materials are available on day one and accessing them is as easy as signing into your Brightspace account. Physical course materials will be available for pickup on campus at the Howard Greenwell Library.

    • You may receive communications from eCampus regarding the status of your textbooks as they are ordered on your behalf.
    • Textbook pickup schedule at the Howard Greenwell Library:
    • Freshmen with last names A-M: August 20, 12pm-1pm
    • Freshmen with last names N-Z: August 20, 1pm-2pm
    • Returning students: August 22, 9am-4pm

 

  • Which students are eligible?

    • All full-time, traditional students taking on-campus classes will be a part of the Booked! program.  Students in special populations, such as high school dual credit students, are not eligible for the Booked! program.

 

  • Do I need special software to access digital textbooks?

    • Digital books are accessible on laptops, desktops, mobile devices and tablets as a PDF or ePub, both standard digital book formats. As long as you have access one of these devices, you will be able to access your digital textbooks. The Library Learning Center has a computer lab available for students.

 

  • Can I choose if my course materials are digital or physical?

    • Course materials are pre-determined by faculty. The format of the materials will depend on what your professor has chosen for the class. To find out which materials are digital and which are physical, log in to eCampus

 

  • Do I own my course materials at the end of the semester?

    • Your course materials will be rented. At the end of the semester, you will receive information regarding the deadline by which you should return any physical textbooks to the Howard Greenwell Library.

 

  • What happens if I add/drop classes?

    • Electronic materials for the added course will be swapped for the dropped course in your Brightspace account automatically. Printed materials for the added/dropped courses will need to be acquired and returned.
