This event will be to award nonprofit organizations for funding of impact intiative programs that support work related to reduction of homelessness, promote affordable housing, and improve economic mobility. It will also focus on awareness of the United Way 211 database system on how it serves as a resource for our area in connecting our citizens to resources as a part of 211 Awareness Day, (February 11th). We will be inviting the press as they cover the work of United Way and funding awards that support helping our community.
