Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT)
Giving to Kentucky Wesleyan has never been easier. Through Electronic Fund Transfer, you can authorize an automatic monthly deduction from your checking account—allowing your consistent support to grow into a lasting impact over time.
Outright Gifts
Outright gifts provide immediate support to KWC and can be directed where your passion aligns most.
- Cash – Gifts may be unrestricted or designated for a specific purpose. You can give securely online by credit card or through EFT.
- Securities – Gifts of stocks or bonds can provide income tax benefits and allow you to contribute appreciated assets to support our mission.
- Tangible Personal Property – Vehicles, equipment, or other items of value can be donated for use or liquidation to benefit KWC.
- Residences and Real Estate – Homes, farms, and other properties can be given outright or with life-use arrangements that allow you to retain occupancy for a set time or for life.
Deferred Gifts
Deferred gifts extend your legacy at KWC far into the future.
- Life Insurance – You may designate the College as a beneficiary or donate a policy no longer needed by your family, often enabling a larger gift than you thought possible.
- Wills and Bequests – Including Kentucky Wesleyan in your estate plans is one of the simplest ways to ensure your values endure. You can leave a fixed amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder after other provisions.
Life Income Plans
Kentucky Wesleyan offers several giving plans that provide lifetime income for you or a loved one while also supporting our mission.
- Charitable Gift Annuities – Provide guaranteed lifetime income for one or two beneficiaries, with remaining funds benefiting KWC.
- Charitable Remainder Trusts – Transfer assets now, receive income for life, and support KWC while realizing significant tax advantages.
Special Gifts
- Charitable Lead Trusts – Provide income to KWC for a period of time, after which assets return to you or your heirs with potential tax benefits.
