Kentucky Wesleyan College alumni are a select, accomplished group.  Our most distinguished alumnus served as an Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court, Justice Stanley Forman Reed, 1902.  He is joined by a United States Representative, two Lieutenant Governors, hundreds of doctors, attorneys, ministers, civil servants, teachers and more.

The Alumni Association’s recognition program celebrates the leadership, service and career achievement of alumni and friends of Wesleyan.  It is a specific and significant way to engage and connect with alumni across generations.  See the menu to nominate a deserving alumnus/a for an award and to view all of our deserving past recipients.  Nominations for Alumni Awards are accepted at any time, with consideration for the award year to those received before Feb. 28.

The Alumni Association has presented annual awards to honor alumni and friends of Kentucky Wesleyan College who serve as active partners, advocates and investors since 1974. These awards are presented at Homecoming during the annual Alumni Hall of Fame and Awards Banquet and are the highest accolades conferred by the Alumni Association.

The Alumni Hall of Fame

This award is intended to recognize alumni successes by honoring those who have gained fame or distinction in their career, become uniquely successful, and/or made significant impact upon others to be deserving of such acclaim.  Inclusion in this Alumni Hall of Fame will perpetuate the memory of those who have brought honor, distinction and excellence to themselves and/or to the name and reputation of Kentucky Wesleyan College.

Distinguished Alumni Award

This award is deemed the Association’s highest award under the Hall of Fame and may be presented annually to an alumnus/a in recognition of superior continuing support to the College, church and/or community. This award can only be presented to an alumnus/a, and 4 are presented each year.

The Honorary Alumni Award

This award recognizes non-alumni who have given considerably of their time and talents to the College. The recipient must be a non-alum and need not be present to receive the award.
