Biography

Dr. Josh Overton holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky. Preceding this, as a Joe Moore Presidential Scholar, he completed his Bachelor of Arts in English and his Master in Business Administration from Brescia University in Owensboro, Kentucky. While having three degrees in differing disciplines, Dr. Overton leverages his professional experience in senior people leadership roles to help support a holistic and behavioral approach to leadership, economics and business within his teaching.

Outside of education, his passion is teaching, coaching and leading middle/high school baseball players both on the travel circuits of the Southeast United States and with the Daviess County High School baseball program. Dr. Overton played college baseball for both Union College and Brescia University.
