Kentucky Wesleyan College to host presentation on “Gender, Race and Money”

Kentucky Wesleyan College will host a presentation, “Gender, Race and Money,” presented by Kimberly Dark of California State University at San Marcos on March 28 at 7 p.m. in Rogers Hall at the Winchester Center. The interactive lecture will explore the history and distribution of wealth in America. Dark, a professor of Sociology and Women’s Studies, is a writer and raconteur who seeks to reveal the hidden architecture of everyday life. She uses humor, surprise and intimacy to help audiences discover their influences and reclaim their power as social creators. She has written award-winning plays and taught and performed for a wide range of audiences in various countries over the past two decades. Her storytelling performances and interactive lectures make big, complex ideas relatable at campuses, conferences, companies and anywhere people seek startling revelations and positive change. The public is welcome to attend the free event.
