Dr. Emily Haire, PT, DPT was born and raised in Owensboro, KY. Her parents and brother are alumni of Kentucky Wesleyan College. Dr. Haire is excited to share her experience with the KWC Exercise Science Program.
She began her career by assisting in opening Fyzical Dizziness and Fall Prevention Centers in Owensboro, KY. Fyzical is a physical therapy clinic that specializes in treating dizziness and balance problems where Dr. Haire served as the Physical Therapy Director. Dr. Haire is currently working in the Inpatient Rehabilitation setting. She is involved in the rehabilitation of those who have endured stroke, cardiac surgery, brain injury, orthopedic surgery or injury, debility, among many other diagnosis and comorbidities. Dr. Haire’s specialty is in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion Management.
Attending Western Kentucky University, Dr. Haire has a B.S. in Exercise Science and was in the WKU Honor’s College. She was a four-year cheerleader at WKU and competed at the UCA College National Cheerleading Championship placing in the top 10 in the nation. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at WKU as well.
