We are pleased to sponsor the evening and feature band V-Groove, bringing Motown Downtown! Since 1998, V-Groove has established itself as one of the premiere bands in the Southeast/Midwest. Their performances show fluency and versatility in the genres of roots music: blues, soul, R&B, funk, and rock. V-Groove is hard to define due to this diversity. However, one thing is for sure…everything V-Groove does has energy and will make you move and have a good time. The band plays regularly at venues in their hometown of Louisville, KY and is making its sixth appearance at our award-winning Friday After 5 festival. The band was named the best band in Louisville more than once by the readers of the LEO and you’ll hear why tonight.
