Kentucky Wesleyan President’s Gala SOLD OUT

270 guests expected for inaugural event

Kentucky Wesleyan College announced that its first-ever President’s Gala, which will take place Friday, April 22, at the Owensboro Convention Center, is officially sold out. The inaugural event is being presented by Owensboro Health.

“We have had a tremendous response for this event and look forward to celebrating the success of Kentucky Wesleyan College with our most loyal supporters on Friday,” said Vice President for Advancement Tom Keith.

The black-tie optional affair will give Wesleyan the opportunity to recognize the College’s President’s Circle – the annual giving society of donors who give $1,000 or more during the year – while honoring the accomplishments of students, alumni, and other College benefactors over the last 12 months.

Festivities begin with a cocktail reception followed by a plated dinner, remarks from President Barton Darrell and live entertainment by Nashville’s award-winning group, The Downtown Band. Kelly Frank Green, a 1996 Wesleyan graduate and Director of News and Digital Content at WBNS-10TV, the Columbus, Ohio, CBS television affiliate, will serve as master of ceremonies.

Other sponsors include American Patriot Getaways, Atmos Energy, Canteen, Greenwell Chisholm, Independence Bank, Ebelhar Whitehead, PLLC, The Law Firm of Foreman Watson Holtrey, US Bank and US Bank Home Mortgage, David Hocker & Associates, Houchens Insurance Group, Old National Bank, Hendrick Screen Company and North Bowie Farming.
