Summer Explorations Camp for Middle School Students

In partnership with the Owensboro Family YMCA, Kentucky Wesleyan College offers Summer Explorations, a fun, one-week enrichment program for middle school aged children. Held on the KWC campus and taught by KWC faculty, students and staff, the program offers an age-appropriate taste of the college experience, complete with alternating schedule of classes. Participants rotate through Monday – Wednesday – Friday classes and Tuesday – Thursday classes, learning a variety of subjects that are taught in college, including Biology, Chemistry, Math, French, Music and Theatre. No exams, though!

SE graphicThis camp is for middle school students who have completed the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade.  For more information on classes, please contact the Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning at (270) 852-3233.  To register, fill out the form on the YMCA webpage for their Day Camps.  Location will be Kentucky Wesleyan Campus.  You will pay the $67/week cost, but no registration fees! Students can attend the camp either June 13-17 or June 20-24.
