Owensboro, Ky. (June 2, 2015) – Kentucky Wesleyan Colleges announces the appointment of Owensboro native Lou Ann Bowersox as Registrar, overseeing registration and student records for the college. She served as Administrative Assistant to the President of the College from 2011-2015, while also assuming various roles in the Business Office and Registrar’s Office from 2008-2011. A former elementary school teacher, Bowersox earned a B.A. in Education from the University of Kentucky and an M.A. in Education from Western Kentucky University.
Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College Dr. Paula Dehn remarked, “Lou Ann will continue to offer excellent customer service to the campus community she loves and with the grace, poise and wisdom for which she is known and appreciated.”
President Barton D. Darrell said, “Our objective is to be the most student-centered college imaginable. Lou Ann Bowersox embodies that ideal, and I believe every Wesleyan student during her tenure would attest to that.”
