My name is Brenna Robinson, and I am an Education & Outreach Specialist for the University of Virginia Cancer Center. I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years, including settings of plubic health, research, corporate wellness, health insurance, community health, pediatrics, family medicine, assisted living, and school health.
My educational background includes a BS in Public Health from American Public University, an MS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from the California University of Pennsylvania, and an M.Ed in Teaching and Learning from Capella University. My certifications and licenses include a Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Health Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, Weight Loss Specialist, and Fitness Nutrition Specialist.
I love technology, social media, blogging, and believe these tools are essential to promoting health, increasing awareness, and teaching and learning. My favorite hobbies are strength training, yoga, binging tv shows, and cheering on my favorite team, the Washington Capitals.
