Kelly Flick began as the institution’s new Grant Writer in October 2020. She joined Kentucky Wesleyan from Dream Riders of Kentucky where she served as Executive Director. During her time at Dream Riders, she represented the agency in a variety of roles including grant writing and fundraising, board governance, program development, and technical writing. Overall, Kelly has 18 years of experience in governmental, public and faith-based social service agencies in Kentucky, Minnesota and Alabama.
Kelly holds bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Brockport and a master’s from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Public Health. A lifelong learner, Kelly has completed the certificate program for Human Resource Management at the University of Wisconsin-Superior and is also a CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive).
