Laura Rudolph joined the Kentucky Wesleyan team in January 2023. Bringing substantial experience in both education administration and business, Rudolph’s skillset provides a unique fit to lead the college’s Career programming. In addition to working with students and alumni on career exploration, resume development, and interview practice, Rudolph plans to develop meaningful relationships with the local business community and beyond to provide program support and job/internship opportunities for our alumni and students. Spearheading existing programs—Leadership Wesleyan, Panther Career Ally Program, and Wesleyan at Work, she will also manage the College’s prospective employer/employee database (Handshake) and will utilize social media to provide better program exposure to prospective employers and external audiences.

Rudolph last came from Henderson County schools, where she served as North Middle Assistant Principal. Prior to that, she was Curriculum Coach, School Career and Technical Coordinator and Business teacher at Hopkins County Central High School in Madisonville. Before her time in the public school system, Rudolph worked for Kentucky Utilities Company in management and marketing roles. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing/economics from Western Kentucky University and three master’s degrees: Master of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky, Master of Arts in Teaching from Eastern Kentucky University, and Education Specialist from University of the Cumberlands. In her down time, Rudolph enjoys spending time with her husband of three years, Michael, their children, and other family and friends.
