Bio:
Joe Luegers grew up in Jasper, IN, and is a graduate of the University of Evansville where he studied piano, classical guitar, and organ. He is currently the general music teacher at Highland Elementary and organist at Old North United Methodist Church, both in Evansville. At the D’Alto Studio of Performing Arts, Joe co-founded the School of Rock summer program with his wife, Alaxandra Luegers, and they ran it for seven years. Joe has been a pit musician for musicals, accompanist for soloists and choirs, and keyboardist in the Opera/Rock band The Tapestry. He has also composed music for two independent movies and is a published novelist.
